I just had to stick around a bit longer. I spent the afternoon in the far distance in this photo. While I was leaving, I decided to take in the scenery and watch this storm roll through. Nothing but dark gray skies, rain and a few rumbles of thunder. Then I noticed a break in the clouds just above the horizon and I knew there was a chance for things to get interesting with the setting sun. I waited another 30 minutes and this was the result.
